Have put up three new albums of photos taken from the air: Colbinabbin, Rushworth and several of Waranga Basin. Enjoy.

June 2003 was dry and June 2005 looked like it was going to be even drier. Then about half-way through the month, we were surprised with rain that continued for about three weeks.

 

The rain wasn't heavy but light and steady over a number of days - just the type of rain we needed so it would slowly soak in to a very hard ground.

 

The farmers were very happy, too, since many of them had sowed crops in the hope of rain - and it came!

 

We'll have to wait and see if winter brings more rain over the coming weeks.

 

So there's some green grass around the property, in stark contrast to the photos from May 2003.
